Nicholas Moore
AKA Nana Kwebana Tati Agyemang Manu
Director, B.Arch.Sc.
Nicholas is an architectural designer and project professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). His experience spans architectural design, construction execution, contract administration, and on-site installation—developed through intentional roles at leading firms across Canada.
He began his career at EllisDon in Toronto, where he gained first-hand exposure to large-scale construction environments, site coordination, sequencing, and quality control. This foundation provided a practical understanding of how projects are actually built—not just how they are drawn.
To deepen his architectural and management expertise, Nicholas worked with Sahuri + Partners Architecture in Calgary and GEC Architecture in Toronto, where he was involved in project coordination, contract administration, and the preparation of architectural documentation. These roles strengthened his ability to manage scope, navigate consultant coordination, and maintain clarity between design intent and construction execution.
His technical understanding was further reinforced through hands-on installation experience with Flynn Industrial in Newfoundland, giving him direct insight into building systems, materials, and workmanship standards at the installation level.
This combination of design training, construction exposure, contract administration, and site experience shapes Nicholas’s approach today. He does not operate as a traditional contractor. Instead, he leads projects through a design-first, well-managed process that prioritizes planning, durability, and accountability.
His work focuses on residential renovations, rebuilding, and modernization—particularly in environments affected by severe weather—where careful assessment, proper documentation, and informed decision-making are essential. Each project is approached with a clear understanding of structure, materials, and long-term performance.
Nicholas’s design philosophy is also informed by his study of African history and architecture. This perspective allows him to move beyond purely Western references and draw from culturally rooted principles to create modern African-Caribbean spaces that are functional, meaningful, and contextually appropriate.
Through clear drawings, structured planning, and disciplined project oversight, Nicholas delivers residential projects that balance design integrity with real-world construction knowledge—providing clients in Jamaica and the diaspora with confidence, clarity, and well-executed results.
